Welcome to my home-page. My name is Warwick Masson and I'm based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
I work as a data scientist and machine learning specialist at Isazi Consulting.
I completed an Msc in Computer Science at the University of Witwatersrand. My research focused on reinforcement learning and policy optimization. In my dissertation I investigated action spaces with parameterized actions. A parameterized action is a discrete action with continuous parameters.
My supervisors (Pravesh Ranchod and George Konidaris) and I published the paper "Reinforcement Learning with Parameterized Actions" in the AAAI conference proceedings.
